Just a little note of reassurance to my couples. I’ve just sent out some wedding goodies to spread some very much needed love and cheer at the moment. This is a very odd time for everyone and the overwhelming wedding community support has been wonderful. Small businesses, freelance wedding suppliers and couples, we’re in this together.
Firstly I just wanted to say how sorry I am to you both for having to deal with this on top of everything else. Wedding planning is stressful enough without this uncertainty. As expected, I have already had a few weddings from this month be rescheduled, and enquiries regarding my policy towards weddings during the COVID-19 outbreak.
I want to assure you that I have every intention and am confident in fulfilling my role at your wedding day. My business and I are fully prepared – from constantly sanitised equipment, to back up photographers that I have worked with and highly regard – you will NEVER be left without a photographer, or out of pocket on my side. The best advice is not to panic. Keep up to date with all of the latest government information on gov.uk.
In the ultimate worst-case scenario, your wedding may have to be postponed, but the health and safety of you and your guests is the most important thing. Please do keep in good contact with me so that we can work through this together as best as we can.
What happens if you have to reschedule your wedding? If your wedding is to be postponed, I will happily transfer your deposit and any money already paid to an alternative date that works for everyone to make things as stress-free as possible for you, free of charge. (This date must be confirmed with your venue beforehand). If your wedding is going ahead, yet you don’t feel comfortable having your complimentary engagement shoot in these current times, I’m happy to gift this as an anniversary shoot after your wedding instead. I know how frustrating this can be and my love goes out to every single one of you. I’m here for any questions that you have, or even just to vent. We will all get through these strange times 💛
